In a collaborative project for a Northwestern, my team partnered with P&G to enhance the user experience for Tampax tampons. We approached the project by first conducting user research; this included eight in-home interviews and multiple consumer-site visits to capture a real-world perspective on user behaviors, needs and pain points.

We distilled our findings into actionable insights. From there, we iterated on several prototypes, A/B testing them, and presented a refined product to P&G.

Tools and methods

To understand the emotional and functional needs behind product preferences, we conducted user research and tested prototypes to discover innovation opportunities in tampon experiences.

How might we eliminate the friction of searching and manual filtering by creating a smarter, more responsive, and unified search experience that’s presents results clearly?
